Not built to run #ourmam
January 2017 didn’t get off to the best of starts with the loss of my mother on 28th January. In February a group of close friends encouraged me to get out of the house and start running... I’m not built for running was my reply!
A 5K run was a challenge, I hated running! As the weeks passed 5K soon turned into 10K and before I knew it I had entered my first 10k race. Soon after another and then a half marathon... what was I doing? 

My wife encouraged me to enter the ballot for the London Marathon 2018 and guess what? I got a place...🙈 on April the 22nd I will be running the Virgin London Marathon 2018. 

My motivation, inspiration and strength will be knowing that I’m running for #ourmam. A special lady who has made me the person I am today. People say the loss will get easy over time, It doesn’t! I miss you, I love you and this will be for you x
