We support families living with dementia to reduce social isolation and loneliness

Story

Bill and I have been allocated places on the Queensferry Crossing walk on Sunday 3rd September. It seems to me to be an ideal opportunity to ask friends to support the Eric Liddell Centre through sponsoring our walk-there are no guarantees of good weather so we may face a howling gale and pelting rain!! Whilst neither of us will cross as fast as Eric Liddell would, I'd like to take this opportunity to support the work done in his name at the Centre. So many dementia patients attend the Centre for highly praised daycare and  their carers can have a break or join others in activities, there is a very well run Befriending scheme for patients and carers, a Community Cafe, a wide range of classes  for all ages from gymnastics and music for toddlers to pilates for adults of all ages. In addition the Centre provides low cost  space  for many small charities and community activities. Please make a contribution to support the Centre and help make every step of our walk count. Thank you very much.
