Story
On Friday 10th June I will be undertaking my first ever bicycle journey from London to Paris. I will be doing this over 2 days, arriving in Paris on the 11th June and covering 290km!
I have not cycled for over 10 years, and I started training a
few months ago alongside the amazing people who will be on this epic journey with me. Training has been intense and has tested me to my limits! A big thank you to my wife for supporting me and making it possible for me to go on 100km bike rides over the weekends.
What has motivated me to take on this challenge? Two INCREDIBLE charities:
Barnes Primary School PTFA so that it continues to have the resources to enrich the lives of the next generation and Skylarks.
Skylarks vision is to foster a world where children with additional needs can thrive.
Skylarks provides support and a active community. They care for the whole family, providing opportunities to join in, develop and feel
empowered. They want to remove the isolation that can be created for families and their children who have a disability or additional needs. Skylarks is based in Richmond Upon Thames but have an open-door policy. Anyone, from anywhere, is
welcome!
All funds raised in this campaign will be split equally between the Barnes Primary PTFA and Skylarks Charity.
Thank you for your support, it is very much apricated.
