So this year, 2014, after years of threatening to do it, I'm going to run a marathon, the Brighton marathon (because I do like to be beside the seaside). The time seemed right, 30 looms and a return to the gym showed what I was capable of. So here I am...

I running for Stonewall, a fantastic organisation fighting for LGBT rights, whose recent great success was equal marriage in England. With an emphasis on addressing homophobic bullying in schools, a cause close to my heart, I couldn't think of a worthier cause to run 26 miles for.
