We provide advice, information and support to families with disabled children

Story

Paula, Hannah, James, and Carolyn are a mixed bunch to be entering the Brighton Marathon 10K together. In terms of age, ability, and fitness levels, we're oceans apart — the Palace Pier vs. the West Pier! Still, we'll give it our best shot on Sunday, 15th April — Brighton Marathon Day — hopefully, running the 10K fast enough not to be overtaken by the marathon lot who set off three-quarters of an hour after us!!

Our efforts comprise one of our projects for MNT Cares, whereby the editors and writers at Medical News Today do something for charity, as a way of contributing to the community in which we work. This is our fourth project in the past 6 months, the other three having been for homeless people in Brighton and elderly people at Christmas.

This time, we have chosen to raise money for Amaze, an independent charity that gives information, advice, and support to families of children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities in Brighton, Hove, and Sussex.

We hope you agree that Amaze is a brilliant charity, doing valuable work, so please support us and Amaze if you can. Any amount, big or small, will encourage us to train harder and will provide essential resources to help Amaze continue its work. Thank you.
