Story

In July, I will be running Race to the Stones 2018 -- 100km over two days along the 5000-year-old Ridgeway path from the Chilterns to Avebury, to mark the 20th anniversary of the Eve Brook Scholarship Fund.

The Eve Brook Scholarship Fund, established in 1998, is for young people, aged 16 – 25, who have grown up in residential or foster care with Birmingham City Council. It is a scheme to celebrate the achievement of young people who’ve been looked after by giving them help to go to college or university.

The Fund’s primary aim is to enable young people who have been in care to access and succeed in higher education: from care to career.
