I have been involved with Home-Start for over 24 years and in that time I have met some amazing people. Parents who have inspired me despite their daily challenges, volunteers whose commitment to the families they support is given without question and colleagues who drive the ethical delivery of our service across all they do.

We have all needed support at some time or other in our lives but we are not all brave enough to ask for it. With everything that we have experienced in the last couple of years, we are most certainly stronger together.

As parents we raise the next generation- so let’s be kind to each other, support each other and understand that being a parent can be tough. But there are people who can support us if we ask.
