Story

On a snowy February afternoon in February 2013 Cave rescue responded to my 999 call asking for assistance for my sister who had fallen near Hull pot coming back down Pen-y-gent. 48 hours of man power and 3 hours after the fall Emma was transported to a land ambulance after being partly sledged then transported to a CRO vehicle and brought off the hill. The team of volunteers were not only fantastic in the rescue but also in keeping moral up throughout, right from the first 2 runners that arrived 45 minutes after the first call, the journey on foot and then the bumpy ride back down in their team vehicle.

Please help us to support the Cave rescue organisation, who are not only a team of fantastic professionals but do this in their own personal time. The Cave rescue organisation rely in public donations and funding to buy all their equipment and are a register charity: 241091.
