Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Earlier in the year,Andrew ,my stepson, tragically died as a result of an epileptic seizure, aged 29.
Obviously, an incredibly tough time for all.
A fantastic, warm, fun loving and caring person.
Andrew's wife, Bex, set up The Andrew Trodden Sunflower Tribute Fund for people to donate where all monies raised go towards Epilepsy Action.
I want to raise as much money doing the Great North Run to help the charity.
The money raised on my JustGiving page, will be matched pound for pound, up to £750, by Barclays Bank, one of my previous employers.
To enable £ 4 £ matching, please use the Red/Maroon coloured "DONATE" button on the top right of my JustGiving page . This will identify which donations are as a result of me doing the Great North Run, and then the donations will be doubled up to £750. Thanks.
Then once all monies are finalised, after the £ 4 £ has been applied, all the funds will go to the Andrew Trodden Sunflower Tribute Fund with all proceeds in aid of Epilepsy Action. An excellent cause.
Please donate what you can.
Obviously if you know anyone who knows Andrew, his wife Bex, his mam Hazel, or his sister and brother, Claire and Robert. Or indeed me, Mel ,please could you forward this page to them. Thank You.
Once again, Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through Justgiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please donate now and give what you can.
Many thanks for your help.
