Dearest Friends,
We are sorry to tell you that Melissa took on her last fight yesterday and lost. She died at 6am on 27th March in hospital, from a DVT related to her medical history.
We take comfort from the fact that up until just a few hours before she died, her life was relatively normal. We’ve had a lovely family time in self-isolation.
You can never be ready for something like this.
She was the most positive person and together we must all remember the bright light she brought into our lives. Your Facebook feeds will be quieter now!
We have set up this page knowing that Melissa would like to continue to fight this battle for others, selfless to the end.
