After vowing to never run another marathon again, the opportunity arose to participate in the London Marathon with my running partner in crime, Judy King! This seemed an opportunity not to be missed and also to raise some money for the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund along the way :-)

The RPMF provides grants to several thousand talented young British athletes to help them achieve their sporting potential. In fact, the majority of the British athletics Olympic teams in 2008, 2012 and 2016 had, at some stage of their careers received support from the Fund, including all of the London 2012 and 2016 individual Olympic athletics medallists!

I would be grateful for any donation to support this excellent charity and also help spur us on with training for this amazing race.
