Story

On Friday, 6 September, 2019, I will be joining over 40 riders and cycling from Haymarket Media Group's Twickenham Headquarters, travelling 250KM, to Amsterdam. Setting off on Friday morning, we plan to complete the journey in under 48 hours, and arrive in Amsterdam city centre on Saturday afternoon. We are undertaking this challenge to raise funds for an incredible local charity; Skylarks, who work tirelessly in our local community to support children and their families who are dealing with disability and additional needs. Established 12 years ago, they currently support approximately 1179 families and 1900 children. The organisation opens its doors to all, and provide twice weekly play sessions, which help provide educational and stimulating activities for children and give parents both support and respite. These sessions are hugely varied and include; yoga, music, art, cooking, sport and drama.
