Although Uganda is captivating and picturesque, it is also home to a plethora of social and development tribulations. Uganda has one of the highest orphan rates in the world, which is attributed to its horrific HIV epidemic. Sadly, many Ugandans lack access to the most basic necessities such as healthcare facilities, education and charitable HIV counselling and testing. The need is simply overwhelming.

I will be visiting Uganda for 1 week in order to assist the people and children of Uganda.

During my time in Uganda I will take part in community projects in a small village in Entebbe called Namulanda where the Isaac's House orphanage resides as well as completing maintenance work at the orphanage. I will spend time with the 25 children Isaac's House currently support teaching them to read, write, play games and have fun! I will also visit a baby orphanage that Isaac's House have helped to support.

I really hope that I can make a positive impact on the lives of the children I meet and make lasting relationships. I am also looking forward to being able to explore an astonishing culture at the same time.

I am hoping to raise as much money for the orphanage as possible and I would be grateful of any donations that you can make. All of the money that I raise will go directly to the orphanage.
