This is a rare and uncomfortable act for me in asking you to donate for something I actually quite enjoy doing. However, here I am, once again putting my body through a half marathon and this time for a charitable cause. 

I decided to raise money for Action for Stammering Children because they do fantastic work with children and young people across the UK to give them the same opportunity as you and I, their peers.

Action for Stammering Children fund specialist therapy, a helpline and training for speech and language therapists specialising in stammering.

I am also doing this in memory of Ian Cook.
