My name is Michael Thomas, and two years ago I received a donation of stem cells through the Anthony Nolan Trust.  In July this year I was privileged to meet my donor, Jeremy Brice, and his partner Alicia.

On Wednesday 27th August they'll be coming to see our brilliant production of The Crucible at the Old Vic Theatre, starring Richard Armitage.  I play the Reverend Parris, who is undoubtedly the most unpopular man in Salem.  In recognition of this, my wonderful company are bidding to empty a large bucket of iced water over my near naked body.  This will take place after the matinee outside the stage door.

I do hope my friends, colleagues, and perhaps even our audiences will help celebrate Jeremy's visit and my company's revenge (a dish best served ice cold) by making a donation to the wonderful Anthony Nolan Trust.
