Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2012, my wife Dorothy and I founded Creating Better Futures with a passion to change children's lives in Zimbabwe. We believed that education was the greatest tool with which to change the world and we believed in the individual potential of each child.

Seven years on we have been able to make a great difference to thousands of lives and it has been an incredible journey for our whole family.

So in 2019 I wanted to take on an epic challenge, which is walking the 100km (60 miles) from Putney Bridge to Henley, hopefully in under 24 hours!

Your generous sponsorship will make a huge difference to the lives of children in Zimbabwe, so please dig deep, which I suspect is what I will need to do on the 7th September!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Creating Better Futures provides access to education for orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe. For every £100 of funds raised could feed 100 children for a week. We are run mostly by volunteers and work directly, so your funds go further, helping to impact thousands of children's lives
