On 5th June I'll be setting off on a 5 day, 230km, self-sufficient ultramarathon race through the Peruvian Amazon Jungle, starting high up in the cloud forest and winding my way down to the basin. 

The organisers will provide water, but nothing else and I'll have to carry everything I need for the full 5 days including a hammock and sleeping bag, food for the entire race, a first aid kit and a minimum of 2.5 litre water carrying capacity.

My adventure is entirely self-funded, so not a penny of the donations will be used to fund either my trip or my extensive equipment list, so I'm hoping that my adventure will inspire people and encourage donations to Inspire Chorley Youth Zone. With 5,000+ members, Inspire Chorley Youth Zone provides a safe, amazing, multifunctional space with state-of-the-art equipment, specialist rooms and experienced youth workers, all here to create a safe, happier and healthier generation.
