The crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine have brought the plight of refugees into sharp focus over recent months. Southampton Action is a charity I've admired and supported for a number of years now, and when I heard they wanted runners to support them in the Southampton Marathon Festival I immediately threw my hat in the ring.

I'm running the event's Half Marathon on the day - Sun 24 April 2022 - to raise both awareness and funds for the charity. Any support greatly appreciated.
