Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It was a pretty big shock to learn that I had pancreatic cancer just before my 54th birthday in late 2014 and it's been a hell of ride over the last 16 or so months since then. PCRF do such fantastic work that I wanted to show a personal contribution to helping to raise some funding for them.

In April 2015, prompted by my situation, 36 close colleagues and friends took part in a WolfRun and raised almost £16k for PCRF. I was in no condition then to take part but was present to support this fantastic effort. Now in my own small way I would like to make my own effort count a little towards this ongoing fundraising requirement. Anything that you feel able to donate will be gratefully received by the charity and would mean a great deal to me.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.
