Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone,,,

We are a two man brother team (pete & mikey sellens) from hastings in the good old south east of England,

we are attempting to reach our goal of driving though 19 countries (uk, France, Belgium, Germany, cezh Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria,Turkey, iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, krygzastan, kazakstan, russia, mongolia, and Siberia!!)! on route to the finish that is  across the entire length of Mongolia (Google it!! Ulan ude is the finsh) this July in a 1972 mini moke/scamp!!  Not an easy feet as the car is one of if not the oldest going. ( check out our facebook page team omj )

this has originally been a dream for pete  for many years he finally managed to register for the 2015 rally there are many personal reasons for both of us attempting the rally, but the main one now i think will be for the memory of our grandparents, the first we lost when we were only 10 & 7, then more recently  last year we lost our other grandad and this February we lost our nan, we were lucky to have outdoorsy grandparents that always had us out and about, and in stalled in us that life is an adventure! so we hope to raise money for charity and also to make the finish line to make them proud.

we have a tall order to achieve our goal of sponsorship and fundraising for our local charity st michaels hospice the link below is for our local charity  through  just giving so we desperately asking for your help, could you please like and share our page with all of you friends?

we are team OMJ (one mans junk) our hope is to attempt the rally relying totally on human kindness! we hope to borrow, or be given everything we need for the rally from local people and businesses, anything we are given for this trip we will be giving away to the people of Mongolia when we reach our goal!

we will aslo be taking items for children (soft toys, colouring, ect) and also supply's (first aid, blankets, ect) to give away to people that we meet traveling along the way as we will be traveling thro very improvrised places.

to ensure maximum donations we are going to do the whole trip sleeping either in a tent or in the car, so no hotels! we will also be tacking tinned and dry food so no resturants either!
