Fundraising for Independent Age
Story
Thank you for your help and your donation to support the charity Independent Age, providing services to isolated older people.
I'm raising money in support of older people's charity Independent Age
because we all live longer and living the best life you can at all ages is important, both individually and collectively. Also, as we get older, we all want to remain independent and live life on our own terms. But not everyone has the networks they need to live their life to the full.
During this difficult time due to coronavirus, it is vitally important that we support charities with networks already in place to best support those most in need, such as vulnerable and isolated older people.
My page donations will be sent direct to the charity in a fast and secure way. It's efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity.
My original challenge was to run London Landmarks Half Marathon. Due to coronavirus, I am now running on my own, with my coach at a safe distance, as part of Local Landmarks Challenge. My run is on Saturday 28 March. Let's do this!
