Cornerstone Big Sleep Out at the Xaverian College to support and raise fund for the homeless and the rough sleepers. Your sponsorship will provide shelter for up to 30 people a night in Cornerstones Safe Haven pods.

Story

Miller Homes North West have a team of 22 taking part in a 1 night sleep-out to help raise much needed funds for Cornerstone.

Cornerstone provides a safe and warm environment in which our clients can access our services. As a day centre, we serve breakfast from 10.30AM, a hot lunch, sandwiches, and tea and coffee throughout the day. We also provide shower and laundry facilities, clothing shop, free haircuts, computer suite to help clients apply for jobs, housing, benefits and immigration. We help people facing a wide range of issues including homelessness, poverty, social isolation, mental health problems, drug and alcohol addiction.Our Safe Haven pods serve rough sleepers and those experiencing destitution so that they can have a roof over their heads, showers and hot meals in the evening. Every night we can accommodate up to 30 people this include the temporary shelter as a winter provision during the cold weather months.
