Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, The African Tour for GLO has been postponed until June 2021.  We're all very disappointed but will be continuing to fundraise for that event instead!

This is our story.....

After spending an an eye opening week in Burundi in April 2019, one of the world's poorest nations, the Mission Burundi team decided that our fundraising had to continue - there are just so many needs of the people there.  So Chris Miles and Ruth Frost are signing up for The African Tour for GLO 2021, a 770 km sponsored bike ride over 7 days in the neighbouring country of Rawanda (or possibly Burundi if it's safe enough).

Each rider is committed to pay their own way for flights and accommodation and also raise a minimum of £3000, which is donated directly to Great Lakes Outreach.  Every penny raised will go straight to the charity.

We would love your support and any donation however small or large will go towards the following partners and projects:

• J-Life - serving widows and orphans in remote areas of Burundi
• The Kings' Conference Centre - pioneering social enterprise
• Gitega International Academy - leading the way in education
