For 10 years we have watched in awe as Mojo has achieved amazing things, things we were told she would never do.

For her tenth birthday Mojo is hoping to raise 10K for a charity which offers support and care to families like ours for whom every single day feels like a gift and the future can often feel like a scary place. 

When you first hear the term 'life-limiting condition' it fundamentally changes your life. Knowing that you are likely to outlive your child is devastating but learning to embrace the time you have together is a gift like no other. Together for Short Lives offer families like ours care, practical support, respite and advice. 

They also offer Butterfly Fund Grants when a child dies which can be used to commemorate their life as the family wish or simply to help with the financial impact of a funeral.

As a family we wanted to give something back to celebrate the decade of love we have shared so far with Mojo. 

We will all be Taking on Ten, each completing a challenge to raise money over the course of the next year. The challenges so far include: learning 10 songs in Makaton, cutting 10 inches off our hair (you know who you are!) and running a 10K while pushing a wheelchair.

We are asking you to join us and Take on Ten to raise as much as we can for Together for Short Lives.
