Nearly a year ago I applied to the London Marathon not believing I would get through the ballot. Fast forward a year and an intensive 16 weeks of training in just two weeks time I will be completing the London Marathon for PSDS right off the back of freshers week.

PSDS stands for Providing Support for Children with Down Syndrome and their families and is a charity very close to my heart as my younger sister Emily has Down Syndrome. Over the years, both myself and my family have been supported by the charity and I have witnessed it to continue to grow and blossom over the last 16 years. 

Ultimately, the charity is seeking to purchase a permanent facility and I wish to give back by supporting them in this journey even if my contribution is only small.
