The aim is to provide group drumming to communities in South Africa to allow those who have a tough life to escape into the world of music. We also hope that this will develop their self confidence, motivation and social skills through the drumming.

We are travelling to South Africa in October to set up drumming workshops and to teach the communtity leaders the skills that they can then pass on to others.

Morpeth School in the UK has a link with Sparrow School in South Africa and we are hoping that this trip will strengthen this link.
