Several times a year a group of us enjoy a creative weekend on Facebook. It is free to participate, and, although it has only been going for a short time, friendships have been made and ideas shared. This month the event will run from 20th to 22nd June and for the first time I'm asking for small donations from those taking part. I'm honouring my Mother who encouraged my art and craft from an early age. She will celebrate her 96th birthday this month, on June 26th. She is in the late stages of Alzheimers, and will be totally unaware of what we are doing.

Be Creative is open to anyone, it isn't an exclusive group - you just have to have a desire to create. We all have different skills and celebrate those during these occasions by following (some of) a series of prompts. More details here:
