Story
In life we meet some incredible people, the kind of people who leave an imprint on your heart and you also meet those you want to avoid (I don't mean you). Well, I had the pleasure of meeting one of those kinds of people my nephew, my best buddy and my partner in crime, Tadiwa (Ted) Muparutsa (19.09.07 - 23.05.13). Ted fought a strong battle against cancer and his journey was made comfortable by so many people including East Anglian Children’s Hospice – The EACH Treehouse. Through his journey, I learnt that life is so very short and there are too many children out there, who are going
through the worst experiences you could imagine.
In turn, there are some fantastic organisations like The EACH Treehouse that provide care and support to children with life-threatening conditions and complex healthcare needs and their families. This organization needs to raise at least £16,000 every day to provide vital services across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
So this year I’ve decided to sign up for a trek to Mount Everest Basecamp and I am trying to raise as much money as possible for The EACH Treehouse. Now those of you who know me well, know that I struggle to walk up 6 flights of stairs without stopping for a rest. All the same, I have every intention of completing this challenge and continue to push for greater things and that is exactly how my Ted played this thing called life. This is a cause that’s close to my heart and I’d really appreciate it if you could sponsor my
efforts.
Thank you for taking the time out to read my page and if you
