The Rugby League Benevolent Fund aims to support players whose lives are affected by serious injuries sustained while playing the game.The Benevolent Fund offers support to seriously injured players via the RFL's Welfare Officer David Phillips.

The RFL Benevolent Fund has been recognised as being among a number of charities which give the highest percentage of their income towards their stated charitable aims.
