We make a positive difference to children with special needs/disabilities

Story

The PE department has decided to raise funds for the Log Cabin charity by walking, running and cycling our way from the most southern point of the UK, Lizard Point in St Ives, to the most northern point of the UK, Dunnet Head in Thurso, a total of 1341km.

We will be aiming to achieve this target during 2 weeks, from the 8th June until the 21st June 2020, by getting as many NHEHS students and staff as active as possible during lockdown.

The Log Cabin Charity in Northfield Avenue, Ealing provides a setting where children and young people with additional needs or disabilities can socialise, grow and have fun alongside their mainstream peers.  Children come to After School Club, Holiday Playschemes, Saturday Club and Start2gether - Stay and Play sessions. We also offer a counselling service to young people aged 11+ and to parents and carers.
