Story
Naylor Wintersgill Chairman Alan Wintersgill is back in the fundraising saddle once again as he takes on the Skipton Triathlon on Sunday 14th April 2019 for our charity of the year, Mind In Bradford.
A new formation of NW tri-ers has been recruited, as Alan and his team ‘tri’ for another impressive time across the finish line. Alongside Alan, who will be getting into his lycra to take on the cycle, Deborah Pilling from Impala Accountancy will be tackling the swim and Naylor Wintersgill tax expert Chris Gumbley will once again be sprinting to the finish.
The Skipton Triathlon is the largest pool-based sprint triathlon in England and consists of a 400m pool swim, 22km cycle lap and a 5km run around the Aireville Park. Collectively, through their join effort the newly formed ‘NW Tri-ers’ are hoping to raise £1,000 for Naylor Wintersgill’s chosen charity of the year, Mind in Bradford.
With one in four people experiencing a mental health problem
every year, our team are really keen to have a positive impact on a mental health charity operating in our local community. Mind in Bradford provides information and support for anyone experiencing mental or emotional health problems in Bradford and across the district. The charity offers a wide range of well being services through a variety of regular groups and activities alongside 'Guide-Line' - a confidential telephone helpline and an award winning
crisis service called 'The Sanctuary'.
All supporters and flag wavers will be greatly appreciated on the day as the team are put through their paces on 14th April.
Alan will be keeping you up to date with photos and posts on the run up to the big day.
Thank you for all your support
