Story

Hello everyone! I am a year 3 student nurse at Manchester Metropolitan University and member of Hyde, here is the story on why I am fundraising. On 16/02/2019 Jacqueline Leigh of Hyde lost her life through a cardiac arrest. A member of the community bravely began CPR, however, Jacqueline lost her life on her way to the hospital. As a result, myself and NWAS will be holding a Basic Life Support Event, where we will be teaching members of the community BLS, CPR, use of the defib machine, recovery position and more. We are also fund raising to purchase new defibrillators in Hyde Town Center where it is easily seen and accessible. I hope to see as many of you there as this is ensured to be a huge event that is not only educational but fun, and we want to raise as much money as possible so we can purchase as many defibrillators as possible!  Please give what you can, so we can help the public save as many people as they can. Thank you all xx
