This week, the MDs will be shaving their heads for cancer research. Sadly, cancer touches many of us. In Australia it's estimated that cancer affects 1 in 3. In Singapore, cancer is the no. 1 killer with 1 in 3 Singaporeans dying of it. Every day in Singapore, 33 people are diagnosed with cancer. In the UK, they estimate that 50% of people born after 1960 will develop some form of cancer.

The journey for those affected is never easy. Fortunately the medics find better ways to detect, prevent and treat cancer every year. The statistics above are awful, but you can at least be sure that supporting cancer research will benefit your family and friends.
