Coronavirus has changed all of our lives. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to the postponement and cancellation of all of our upcoming fundraising events. This will have a huge impact on our services and we desperately need your help.

Story

October is coming around very quickly and with it being the anniversary of my mum's passing i would love to do something in her memory and give back to a charity that means a lot to me.

Headway were so lovely to my mum when she was in hospital, let's help them help other people and their families with brain injuries ♡

Headway Oxfordshire is a charity that supports people affected by brain injury. Our centre in Kennington provides rehabilitation activities. We also provide support to help individuals integrate back into everyday community life.Currently, during the Covid-19 crisis, we have adapted our services to be remote and digital. We continue to support those affected by brain injury through this time by offering our Activity and Rehabilitation Centre via Zoom. The sessions include art therapy, yoga, quiz, social forums and seated exercise to improve mental health and wellbeing, keep people fit and healthy and reduce the feeling of loneliness. We have also launched during this time an Emergency Food Drop Service to deliver essentials.Coronavirus has changed all of our lives.
