Event: Great Bristol Half Marathon 2017, on 17 September 2017
We provide therapies, support and help to people with neurological conditions

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many people know that I enjoy running. Many people will also have seen me in fancy dress. It is rare however that these two elements combine but on the 17th September, at the Bristol Half Marathon, they will; I will be taking to the roads of Bristol wearing an inflatable, green outfit. I have worn this outfit a few times before but only for 5k (3.1 miles) parkruns where I have gained the nickname "The Green Man". Given that earlier this year I completed The Green Man Ultra, a 45 mile run around the outskirts of Bristol (not in fancy dress by the way), the name is very appropriate. I am certain it will be tough, tougher if its a hot day. But the MS Therapy Centre is a very worthy cause and I know two families who benefit from their services.

And, as an additional motivating factor, I will be aiming to complete the half marathon in less than two hours.....!

Anyone choosing to donate will be entered into a draw where the prizes are a bottle of champagne and a number of 4-ball rounds of golf at a local clubs, including Bristol & Clifton GC.

The MS Therapy Centre is the Captain's Charity at Bristol & Clifton Golf Club where I am the Club Manager.

I would be very grateful if you could find your way to making a small donation.
