I am the Regional Managing Partner at Irwin Mitchell in Sheffield and also a Trustee of the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.  I have agreed, along with 5 others, to take part in the charity’s Funny Business event. This means I will be attempting to perform stand up for the charity at Sheffield City Hall.  Having never done anything remotely like this I am starting to wonder what I have let myself in for, Many of you may think that as a solicitor I am eminently qualified to be a stand-up comedian, but I am very much out of my comfort zone .  Any donation that you can make, however small, will go towards a fantastic cause and make my ordeal a little more palatable. Weston Park Hospital is a fantastic but expensive facility providing treatment to huge numbers of patients in our region. Nearly every person in Sheffield has witnessed first hand, through relatives and friends, the phenomenal treatment the hospital provides. I am more than prepared to make a fool of myself to help in a small way and am very proud to be associated with them. I hope you can help too by making a donation.
