Well folks, we're at it again! Now that enough time has elapsed to almost forget the pain of our first cycle challenge we have decided to sign up to another one. This October we will be cycling from Milan to Venice which is approxiamtely 375km. This is the same distance as last time but over 3 days instead of 5, so physically a much tougher challenge. And as we all know - Italy is not flat! This ride is inevitably going to be ALL HILLS!!!

In addition to this fact, neither of us have been back on our bikes since the last challenge (shocking we know!) Infact this Easter weekend was the first ride we've done, so this summer we need to really go for it!

The event is organised via Women V Cancer, and is in aid of three extremely important cancer charities, Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action. During our last challenge we were educated on what types of research and what patient support initiatives are funded by the monies raised by these challenges. It really is phenomenal work that these charities do and it really does make a difference to peoples lives.

Almost all of us have experienced, or know someone who has been affected by this disease, so we dont need to emphasise to any of you how important this is.

As before we are paying for our own flights & accomodation, so all donations go directly to the charities, and not towards funding the trip itself. All donations, large and small are very much appreciated. We're slightly behind schedule and need to have reached our fund raising total by the end of July!!! But we like a challenge :-)
