I have supported Born Free for many years.  By joining the 30 year anniversary challenge to climb Kilimanjaro I aim to raise as much money as possible to help protect and keep wild animals in the wild.

I have paid all fees meaning that EVERY PENNY I raise will go directly to the Born Free to help protect endangered animals in a world where the 'wild' is shrinking at an alarming rate. 

Kilimanjaro is 5,895 metres high (1,085 metres higher than Mnt Blanc).  I've opted to undertake the more challenging Machame route.  I'll be trekking for betwwen 6 and 13 hrs per day for 6 days  and sleeping on the ground in tents.  In other words it is going to be flipping hard work.
