In January 2021 I started working with Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity and have the privilege of collaborating with the unbelievably lovely charity team and specialist nurses who work tirelessly every day to help seriously ill children. 

With my team at Work Networks, we've been helping the charity team and specialist nurses to connect, form closer community and feel less isolated while out and about, using Workplace from Facebook. By the way, Work Networks will match a pound for each pound donated : )

Working so closely with the charity has showed me first-hand how important every pound we can raise will be to helping them continue their truly Marvellous work, and can hopefully help play a small part in helping them grow, as they to need to provide many more specialist nurses beyond the 79 they currently have...

So I'm going to run the 2021 London Marathon as part of #teammarvellous. Knowing how important their work is will motivate me during the tougher moments of training and running the 26.2 miles. I am super proud to be wearing the #teammarvellous vest : )

I know everyone gets asked to support so many of these things, so I am incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter how small (or big).
