We fund research and support to improve the lives of children with IBD

Story

Nick and Jon are running the Cambridge half marathon on behalf of CICRA.This is an amazing small charity who have such a massive impact on families that have children diagnosed with Crohn’s disease:

“Our sons' friend Raffy was diagnosed with Crohns just after his 8th birthday. The support and information CICRA provide enabled Raffy and his family to understand this debilitating autoimmune disease  and help bring families in similar situations together. They also fund extensive research into Crohns which currently does not have a cure.

Rafferty is currently in clinical and biological remission thanks to the ongoing infliximab infusions he receives every 8 weeks. Raffy loves life and is determined to enjoy every opportunity that comes his way.

There are many young children like Raff who have this condition and we want to raise as much as we can to help find a cure for this life long disease.”
