Part of that change included an attempt to complete Ironman Austria in June 2014.  That didn't quite go to plan (https://trilady.wordpress.com/2014/07/02/ironman-austria-a-race-report/) and so I have been lucky enough to have another crack at an iron distance event, the Outlaw in Nottingham on 27th July 2014.  I normally don't do events for charity (I don't have many friends, not enough to ask regularly anyway ;o)  But, we recently started working with the Princess Alice hospice and it became apparent very quickly how much the amazing work they do touches the people who are around us, support us and help us so much.  So, this is my way of saying thank you to those people (hopefully, you know who you are).
