Story
We are running in Loch Ness - Nic, Julie, Jacqui and Emily are running the marathon, Wendy, Ellie, Hannah and Lara are running the 10K. Our team are raising money for Lymphoma-Out-Loud#LOL
Lymphoma is a blood cancer and is the most common cancer in teenagers & young people, every year in the UK around 500 young people aged 15 to 24 develop lymphoma and someone is diagnosed every 27 minutes!
Lymphoma-Out-Loud is a charity whose mission is to educate, empower and ensure everyone knows the signs and symptoms of lymphoma. They want to educate young people on the signs & symptoms, encourage them to get to know their body, and empower them to have the confidence to speak to their GP if they notice something that doesn’t seem right.
They spread the message with #BeBodyBrave.
The founder, Charlotte, is Nic’s niece and was diagnosed with an incurable cancer in her early 20’s. Despite her life devastating news, she turned fear, pain and sadness into a desire to make a massive change for young people everywhere and Lymphoma-Out-Loud #LOL was born.
We know we've asked before, but if you could spare a few pounds and help us raise as much as possible for this amazing cause, please do.
Thanks.
