Story
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
In March 2014, one of my closest friend's mothers passed away after a long illness. Anne was an incredible woman - one of the kindest and strongest I've ever known - even taking me in when I was a wayward teen. I will always look upon Anne as a parent, and am grateful to have had her in my life.
In May this year, a friend of mine JoJo passed away at the tender age of 32, again, because of cancer. I'm still reeling to be honest. JoJo and I weren't close friends, but we did speak a lot over the years we knew each other. She was an incredible inspiration to me and many others before and during her illness. We even made the local and national press together!
I had originally intended to take part in Ultra White Collar Boxing, but due to a double hernia operation in April, I can no longer undetake this activity. I'm still going to raise money this year, but I haven't quite decided upon a suitable activity. My latest idea is abseiling, as I am petrified of heights! Any ideas are more than welcome (except running, because I want to keep that as my regular exercise!).
Most people have lost a loved one to cancer and the fight continues. However small a donation you can manage, or if you want to come and see me fight, please do so - your support is incredible and massively appreciated.
