My dear friends,
Welcome to my JustGiving page. I hope you all had a great start to the new year.
As I start to count down the next 40 days until my 40th birthday, I figured I do not want a party or any gifts. I prefer having meaningful conversations with my friends in small groups over coffe, lunch, drinks or dinner and say 'cheers' for my birthday. I will celebrate in my own way for the next 40 days and 40 nights by either having a pj party on my own, or meeting friends for dinner or drinks. This is how I will say 'Thank You' to life for my 40 years. I am thankful for all I have and the best way I know to express my gratitude is by giving to those in need. Therefore if you could please donate to Refugee Action instead of buying me any gifts, it would be hugely appreciated. Whether you choose to donate or not, I thank you all for being in my life. I feel so lucky having made so many precious friends over the years.
Sevgili arkadaslarim, sayfama hosgeldiniz. Sizden bir ricam var. 40. yasima 40 gun kala geri sayima baslarken bir parti ya da herhangi bir hediye istemedigime karar verdim. Kucuk kutlamalar, bulusmalar, kadeh, fincan tokusturmalar tercih ediyorum. Kendimce 40 gun 40 gece kutlayacagim, gerek kendi kendime televizyon karsisinda pijama partisiyle, gerekse dostlarla yemek, icki ya da kahve ile.... 40 yilim icin 40 gun boyle sukredecegim. Bildigim tek ve en guzel sukran ifade yolu da ihtiyaci olana yardim etmek. Bu yuzden benim icin bir hediye yerine Refugee Action'a yapacaginiz bagis cok makbule gececek. Bagis yapin ya da yapmayin, hepinize cok tesekkur ediyorum. Ne mutlu bana cok guzel dostluklar biriktirdim.

Thank you all for an amazing start!!! May I just let you know that if your donation appears as from 'anonymous' on my page, it really is anonymous to everyone including me. So, thanks to some serious detective work, I have managed to trace them all but two down and have been able to thank them personally but I guess you'll appreciate that when I try do that I run the risk of ending up in a really awkward situation in case I ask and the person hasn't donated.(Thank God I have been lucky till now and got them right the first time!! ) So please leave your names or if you prefer not to have your names displayed on the page, please drop me a note at n.atalay@icloud.com so I know who you are.
