My amazing friend Jacqui set up PTSD UK after fighting her own battle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (read her story here: https://www.ptsduk.org/about-ptsd-uk/my-own-experience/). Rather than just recovering and moving on with her life, Jacqui decided she wanted to help others with PTSD and so the charity was born. I am privileged to be a board member and hope that by running the Great North Run I can raise money and awareness.
