Jailed and Bailed!
By Order of the Lord Mayor and the Lord Mayor’s Consort I am to be arrested at Mansion House on 19 June! By the City of London Police!
I will be taken through the streets to the Tower of London and jailed there until my Bail is paid. Guarded by the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
I hope you will make donations to my bail fund target total of at least £1000! A bottle of fine vintage Champagne, will be drawn for among donors after I am bailed, which I hope will provide additional encouragement to give!
Each Ten Pound in the donation will give you one share in the draw. (£20 gives you two shares in the draw, etc.) Please bear in mind that I will need 100 shares to be sold to get £1000, so please give, give, give!
Should you wish to give a plain donation without being entered in the draw, please let me know through the message to me on the donation page.
This Jailed and Bailed event was first run in 2004 and somewhere around half a million has been raised. I really encourage you to give generously so our Company can make a measurable contribution to this very important cause.
