Story

The 2015 ChildLine Ball took place at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester on Saturday 7th March. The Ball was a complete sell-out and raised a staggering £221,000 for the NSPCC's ChildLine Schools Service Programme in the North West of England.

In October 2014 the £1 million appeal for the ChildLine Schools Service was launched and the Ball has played a major role in supporting this appeal.

Guests were treated to a packed entertainment programme of Britain's Got Talent finalists; Bars and melody, 2014 Voice UK winner; Jermain Jackman and 2013 X Factor Winner; Sam Bailey.

We are excited to announce the date of the 2016 North West ChildLine Ball, which will be celebrating ChildLine's 30th Birthday, as Saturday 5th March. The Ball will be held once again in the prestigous Hilton Deansgate Hotel in Manchester City Centre and promises to be another sell-out event topping the North West's Social Calendar.

Please dig deep and give generously to this vital service. The Children of the North West need us now more than ever.

ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC
