We help homeless & vulnerable people to achieve a stable and fulfilling life.

Story

On Sunday 10th of April, NowThen Cleaners & Friends will be running the Sheffield Half Marathon, raising money for the Cathedral Archer Project.

The Cathedral Archer Project (CAP) is a place where homeless people can change their lives for the better.

The CAP help homeless people achieve a better life by supporting them to:

  • Develop their independence
  • Improve their ability to tackle setbacks
  • Improve their ability to identify and change negative behaviour
  • Improve their wellbeing

The CAP get to know people because they want them to realise that they can trust CAP to help them. When people trust CAP they are more willing to take part in activities and seek 1-1 support to address their issues. Typically issues will include:

  • Lack of accommodation
  • Broken family relationships
  • History of offending
  • Poor mental and physical health
  • Substance misuse
