It’s with the greatest pleasure we can declare 2019 as Odyssey’s 25^th Anniversary year, which by a lovely twist of fate also coincided with Odyssey’s 100^th course.  

Over the years almost 2000 patients have benefited from our courses. Time and again people tell us how Odyssey’s blend of physical challenges, creative opportunities and personal interactions, have helped them build confidence, renew hope and reinstate their joy in living.  For many it’s acted as a catalyst in taking up new interests and/or returning to work. www.odyssey.org.uk

In order not to deny anyone the opportunity to attend Odyssey, a founding principal of the charity is that courses are free.  As a result Odyssey relies entirely on fundraising and grants. The level of fundraising determines how many places we are able to offer each year.
In 2019 we have provided places for 54 patients ...it would be marvellous if we could provide places for 75 patients next year.

In an attempt to achieve this target and celebrate our 25th anniversary we have organised a couple of Challenge Events for this Autumn:  the Castle to Castle Bike ride through Wales and the Swedish Canoe Adventure down the Harkan River.  Both arduous and worthy challenges.

Any support which will help us raise money and make Odyssey’s 25^th year something to celebrate will be very much appreciated.
