We are lucky enough to be celebrating our love and unconditional care for each other, so we wanted to share some of that with those who have most need of it. Olga first came to know Helen Bamber when she interviewed her for a documentary, and was hugely impressed by her and her lifetime's work for those who have endured cruelty, torture and suffering. After founding the Medical Foundation for the Victims of Torture, Bamber also set up her own, wider, foundation 8 years ago, at the age of 80, to additionally extend aid to those who have been victims of trafficking, war, domestic or gender based violence.
